The 2006-2007 season was more of a disappointment than anticipated. The team didn't show a lot of dedication or passion in their plays. Dave Lewis and Marc Habscheid were both fired in June of 2007. Claude Julien became the new head coach for the Bruins after he was fired late in the 06-07 season from the New Jersey Devils. Update: 2/17 - The Boston Bruins held the 9th annual Charity Auction to benefit the Travis Roy Foundation. This upscale event gave Bruins fans the chance to meet their favorite players in a mix and mingle atmosphere. There were over 200 silent auctions for sports memorabilia, restaurant gift certificates and Bruins tickets packages.

The event was in support of individuals with spinal cord injuries which was created after Travis Roy was involved in an accident on the ice which left him paralyzed from the neck down. The foundation has impacted the lives of many people suffering spinal cord injuries. (Last updated 2/18/08)
